About

Flora founded Collas Comms to better serve the growing charity sector in Jersey and to encourage corporates to take a more strategic approach to their CSR.

Following a career in London managing the communications and sales for two London art galleries, Flora returned to Jersey. After acting as an Account Manager to some of Jersey's landmark charities and then internally as a comms manager within the financial services sector, Flora saw an opportunity to help both sectors work together more effectively.

As well as supporting charities with strategic communications, such as building fundraising strategies, impact reporting and all aspects of digital and traditional PR, Collas Comms seeks to revolutionise the way our Island views CSR. Flora says:

"We exist in a unique financial climate that allows for great wealth to be generated - this should be met with an equally great and considered level of charity. More unique still, given Jersey's size, is the potential for sustained and meaningful connection between corporate/donor and charity. Philanthropic gestures can be met with demonstrable, local impact. This impact and connection should build year on year as organisation and charity watch the fruits of their labour grow. It is with sustained and strategic investment, that we see meaningful change."

Flora has a diploma in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a Masters in History Of Art from The University of Edinburgh.
